Annual Toronto International KiteFest (September 16-17, 2006)
A 2-day international event at Milliken District Park, McCowan & Steeles, Scarborough, Ontario. Free admission. Star teams from North American, Asia and Europe will be featured with hundreds of other kite enthusiasts. In addition to breath-taking kite contests and demonstrations of award-winning kites in the Toronto sky, there will also be kite battles, open flying field, children’s kite-making workshops, live multicultural performances, festival bazaar, gourmet market, game booths, lucky draws and prizes.
